Ilana Lock

Principle of Hype One Studios, Ilana, has trained professionally in Musical Theatre. After graduating she went on to perform in multiple shows across the UK. She still regularly performs in, as well as choreographs for shows in York. At Hype One Studios, Ilana teaches all disciplines from Musical Theatre and singing, to Street and Commercial, to Lyrical and Jazz.

She has a passion for teaching, so starting Hype One Studios in 2021 was a dream come true in being able to shape the young performers of the future, whether it's a hobby or a dream job for the children, Ilana brings technique, structure, joy, fun and a new confidence to them that's amazing to see.

Kelly Kiernan

Kelly trained professionally in Musical Theatre, before also going on to perform in shows across the UK. Kelly and Ilana met doing shows in York and straight away Ilana knew she was the perfect addition to the Hype One Studios family.

Kelly teaches our Juniors Musical Theatre classes, as well as supporting in our other classes.

​

She brings a huge amount of support to all of the children that attend, as well as the team. Her talent and ability to take the children's skills and confidence to the next level is brilliant.

Lizzie Burnett

Lizzie is an asset to our family. She is one of Hype One Studios senior students and joined the team as an assistant for our Saturday classes.

​

The children look up to Lizzie as her talent and her connection with the children makes her loved by all.

​

Lizzie is currently still at school, so dedicating her time to classes, as well as teaching is something we as a team and the children are extremely grateful for.
